dolphins_logJuli and I went to "The Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl" yesterday. This is one of those summer films that make you want to go out to Denney's with friends afterwords, and drink ice tea [or whatever] until you burst. This was a great romp. Jack Sparrow was wonderfully played "I had to try it" and Elisabeth was a great "You want to know pain? Try wearing a corset!" heroine who could do for herself in many cases. William shined, but next to the other two characters he just didn't shine as bright. Barbarossa was a champion villian, him and his monkey, Jack.
There are still a quite a few people going to this film, but see it with the audience. It makes it that much better.
